The NSW Assistant Minister for Health launched the NSW Active Travel Charter for Children.

Better Block

A shipping container parklet created for the Clovelly Road Better Block to provide a mobile 'parklet' legacy project along Park to Pacific route in place of a car parking space.

Shared Space Demonstration Project

Parramatta barrack Lane Walk21 shared space demonstration project design solutions prepared as a result of one of the pre-conference events.

Healthy Places Special Issue

 Australian Health Promotion Journal Healthy Places and Spaces special issue demonstrating the link between health, transport and/or planning to promote more walking and cycling.

NSW Local Council Mayors

21 Local Council Mayors from across NSW signed the Walk21 International Charter for Walking.  

NSW Active Transport Roundtable

A NSW Active Transport Roundtable was convened immediately after Walk21 to investigate additional active transport opportunities emerging from the Conference.
